About Me

I am a first generation college graduate and feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to pursue this exciting and fulfilling career! In addition to my love of teaching and science, I also love (maybe not surprisingly) the outdoors! I enjoy hiking, gardening, and exploring new places. I am also an enthusiastic reader and I like making, viewing, and collecting arts and crafts. I've played sports all my life, including field hockey and lacrosse pre-college and soccer post-college and today. I love spending time with my family, which includes my husband, son, daughter, and our cats Perseus and Neith!
